"It's the same old tissue, honey, it doesn't make a difference, ok? It's still going to work the very same way", my exasperated other half hissed into my ear as I grabbed containers after containers of some 'designer' tissue. DESIGNER TISSUE! Hah, can you even hear me say that? I can't think I actually wrote 'designer tissue'. Yes, for a graphic designer and author who understands all about the kind of effort one puts into packaging and branding items, I sure fell for it. All the hoopla. The shenanigans. The 'draw 'em in with good copy and fab color combo'. Hey, I am still a customer, remember that. I am entitled to fall for nice product packaging, I have a dominating right to be human.
But they are so quite ... the packaging. I swear!
They have the 'nature enthusiast' packaging, the 'fruity' product packaging, the 'lady on the go' packaging, and then they have the 'kids' packaging. I got 4 of each style packages and made a run for the counter with them with my shrieking kids and exasperated husband running after me in slow motion.
Well, in this case, I was running for checkout with boxes of tissue paper with expensive product packaging designs on them. If I didn't like the packaging develops so much, I would discover it humorous enough. I am dead serious. In truth, I enjoyed the packaging designs so much, after utilizing up all the tissues in the boxes, I would eliminate the designs and put it into my 'should keep for reference' clear folder. Maybe you're likewise believing that the cash needs to go towards establishing better quality products ... for faster delivery alternatives ... or possibly the cash must go towards investing possible customers to pricey suppers in Italian restaurants. It's your call, really.
But this is what I have to tell you, as a graphic designer and customer. The more effort you put into developing your packaging, more customers will take an appearance and stop at your packaging or what's inside polyethylene food packaging the packaging. Now, does it make good sense for me to state now that when they stop and take notification of your packaging, your possibility of getting them here to buy your product increases? Precisely.
And without an electrifying product packaging, customers are going to walk past the heaps and loads of other rival products ... and yours ... without even knowing you're there! Your item is sitting there on a shelf, for goodness sake, and the only weapon you have is to have a good liquid packaging bag suppliers.
